Account Information

When you create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture

This data is used to create and manage your account.

User-Generated Data

We collect information you provide within the app, including:

  • Onboarding responses
  • Goals and preferences
  • Streaks and progress
  • Activity-related data
  • Feature interactions

If you use AI-powered features, we may also process:

  • Photos (e.g. task proof images)
  • Text inputs (e.g. goals, responses, prompts)

Device Information

We may collect limited technical data such as:

  • Device identifier
  • Operating system version
  • Crash logs

Payments

All payments are processed via Apple In-App Purchases.
We do not collect or store payment information.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the app
  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Enable premium features
  • Analyze task completion and progress
  • Improve app performance and stability
  • Provide customer support
  • Enable AI-powered features (see Section 3)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

We use the following third-party service providers:

  • Supabase (authentication and database infrastructure)
  • RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management)
  • OpenAI (AI processing for certain features)

When you use AI-powered features, the following data may be transmitted to OpenAI:

  • User-submitted images (e.g. task proof)
  • Text inputs (e.g. goals, prompts, responses)

This data is used solely to provide AI-based analysis and feedback within the app.

AI features are only used after the user has explicitly provided consent within the app.

All third-party providers are required to process data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data when:

  • Necessary to operate app functionality (e.g. AI processing via OpenAI)
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect legal rights

We do not sell personal data.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is securely stored using Supabase infrastructure.
  • We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
  • However, no system can guarantee complete security.

6. International Data Processing

Your data may be processed in countries outside your place of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (e.g. OpenAI) may operate.

We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR).

7. Your Rights (EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to processing

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account within the app.

Upon deletion:

  • Personal data is removed
  • Progress and usage data is deleted

Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately via Apple.

9. Age Requirement

Locked In: AI Coach is intended for users aged 16 and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Changes will be published with an updated date.
